Horsepower to the people

Co-operative Party members will be at Manchester's main railway stations on Monday campaigning for passengers and staff to be given control of Network Rail.
The company - which runs the tracks - is owned by the government.
The Co-op Party wants it to become a mutual with passengers and staff able to join as members and vote on major decisions.
For details of the People's Rail campaign go here.
Activists will be handing out petition cards at Piccadilly and Victoria on Monday - August 11.

A worthwhile campaign - are the co-operators a new militant tendency w/in the labour party? What next, mutualising the 100 biggest corporations ;-)
